Overview

The Relationships area managesdefine the distributor, partner,commercial and tenantsupport hierarchy used acrossby CMS. They connect distributors, partners, tenants, users, subscriptions, users, billing, commissions, documents, and dashboards.

Purpose

Use Relationships to create and manage the organisations that own or support tenants and subscriptions.

Relationship Hierarchy

CMS uses this ownership chain:

Distributor
  -> Partner
       -> Tenant
            -> Subscription

Platform

User administrators can work across the whole hierarchy. Distributor, partner, and tenant users work only inside their assigned organisation scope.

Creating RecordsRoles

New distributor, partner, and tenant forms use step-by-step screens. Each step validates the entered information before the record is created.

Key Workflows

Create a Distributor

  1. Open Relationships.
  2. Select the distributor area.
  3. Choose New Distributor.
  4. Enter display name, description, billing contact, billing address, billing country, and billingcurrency.

Tenant

Create Tenanta Partner

  1. Open Relationships.
  2. Select the partner area.
  3. Choose New Partner.
  4. Select the distributor.
  5. Enter partner details, billing details, and contact information.
  6. Review the summary confirmation.

Relationship PagesConfiguration

TheSelf-provisioning top-levelsettings Relationshipscan page gives authorised users access to distributor, partner, and tenant management. Detail pages show related records and operational views such as consumption, commissions, tenants, partners, subscriptions, invoices, and documents where available.

If a grid is emptyallow or replaced by a setup message, check whether prerequisite records exist. For example, partners require a distributor, and tenants generally require a partner.

Self-Provisioning

Somerestrict delegated creation actions can be enabled or disabled in settings.actions. Platform administrators can still create relationship records directly. Read-only rolesusers can view records but cannot create or change them.

If a user cannot create or edit a relationship record, checkcheck:

    Billing and Commissions

    Distributor and partner detail pages can show consumption and commission information whereallow the useraction.
